The festival kicks off on Saturday at 9:00 PM with Portuguese artist Omiri, presenting his audiovisual show Modas Novas e Algumas Velhas. This performance combines videos and recordings of popular musicians from Portugal with improvisation and contemporary composition.
Following this, at 11:00 PM, Galician composer and multi-instrumentalist Mercedes Peón will take the stage with her project Ingrávida. The performance features a female ensemble of up to 17 artists, including pandereteiras (traditional Galician tambourine players) Raigañas and Xirifeiras, alongside Mónica de Nut and Ana Fernández.
On Sunday, the duo Delameseta from Valladolid will open the day, blending electronic music, urban rhythms, and folklore from Castilla y León. Their show incorporates tambourines, synthesizers, percussion, and traditional dance to champion popular culture from a contemporary perspective.
The festival will close on Sunday at 10:30 PM with Raíces sin fronteras by Ethno Spain, bringing together around thirty young musicians from over fifteen countries. The ensemble returns to the festival after participating in previous editions.
The City Council of San Sebastián de los Reyes has announced that access to all performances will be free. The council emphasizes that the festival "champions cultural diversity, experimentation, and the tradition's capacity to continue exciting and connecting generations."
