Two arrested in Alcobendas for alleged drug trafficking

The Local Police of Alcobendas has arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in public health offenses, as part of surveillance operations within the municipality.

Alcobendas police forces apprehended two individuals on Thursday the 18th on suspicion of public health offenses, specifically related to drug trafficking. These actions were carried out as part of ongoing surveillance operations by the police force in various areas of the municipality.
The initial intervention was conducted by the Integral District Units. Officers caught an individual allegedly engaged in activities involving narcotic substances. During the operation, a scooter was also seized, which, according to the information provided, was used for transporting and concealing the substances.
Subsequently, the Puma Unit and Canine Guides carried out a second operation as part of a Special Surveillance Plan focused on parks and public spaces in Alcobendas. This intervention resulted in the arrest of another individual for similar circumstances, also linked to an alleged public health offense.
Following the police actions, both detainees were handed over to judicial authorities to proceed with the relevant legal proceedings. These arrests are part of the control and surveillance efforts undertaken by the Alcobendas Local Police in public areas to detect and prevent activities presumed to be connected to drug trafficking.
