A National Police operation has dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of synthetic drugs, with raids carried out in Alcobendas and San Sebastián de los Reyes.

The operation, which concluded on April 28, resulted in the arrest of six individuals, five of whom have been remanded in custody by judicial order. The network, which operated with a defined hierarchical structure, ran a clandestine laboratory in a home in the northern area of the Community of Madrid.
During the house searches, officers located specialized machinery for pill production, including manual presses, packaging machines, and various chemical precursors. In addition to the narcotics, officers seized imitation weapons, taser devices, cash, and vehicles used for the group's logistics.
The investigation, which began in early 2026 following an international cooperation alert, revealed that the organization had the capacity to distribute millions of doses. Those involved have been brought before the courts on charges of public health crimes and membership in a criminal organization.
