The opposition group in Algete has expressed concern over the absence of a budget allocated to the municipality's industrial estates during the current term. According to their statements, this situation contrasts with the previous legislature, when direct investments were made in these infrastructures.
“"While in the last legislature we invested in our industrial estates, in the current legislature there has been zero investment, not a single euro for the improvement of the estates."
The criticism is not limited solely to the lack of funding but also points to the absence of a strategic plan and dialogue with the companies located in these areas. This inaction, according to the opposition, is causing other nearby municipalities to gain ground on Algete in terms of competitiveness and economic development.
For the opposition, industrial estates are fundamental for the local economy, and their abandonment not only harms existing businesses but also hinders the attraction of new activities and the creation of jobs for Algete residents.

Given this situation, the opposition group has announced that it will present a concrete strategic plan for Algete's industrial estates in the next municipal plenary session, with a commitment to execute it if they come to power.
