The intervention, carried out by the Department of Sports, addresses the accumulated wear and tear of the floor after years of continuous use by clubs and athletes. The objective is to ensure a safe and adapted space for the practice of handball and futsal.
This renovation is in addition to other improvements made to the pavilion in recent years, aimed at its modernization. The City Council has invested a total of 631,224.27 euros in the climate control of these facilities, including work to improve insulation and eliminate leaks.
With the completion of these works, a new action is finalized at the Lorenzo Rico Municipal Sports Complex, reaffirming the municipal commitment to updating its infrastructure and promoting sports practice in optimal conditions for users.
