The Colmenar Viejo City Council has announced the opening of registrations for its 2026 summer camps, offering a wide range of educational, sports, and cultural activities for children and teenagers.

The program, organized by the Department of Education, aims to facilitate family reconciliation during the summer months, providing minors with spaces to develop social skills and participate in enriching experiences.
Among the available options are urban camps, which will take place at CPB Fuentesanta for children aged 3 to 12, from June 22 to September 4. These camps will run Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with extended hours starting at 7:30 AM. The cost is 160 euros per fortnight, including meals, and daily rates for June and September. Registrations for this modality will be open until May 24, and places will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. An informational meeting is scheduled for June 11 at the Pablo Neruda Cultural Center.
For the more adventurous, multi-adventure and mountain camps will be offered. The multi-adventure camp, aimed at young people aged 12 to 17, will run from July 12 to 22 in Robledo de Fenar, León, and will include sports activities, swimming, workshops, and excursions, with a price of 387 euros and 100 available spots. The mountain camp, for children aged 7 to 13, will take place from July 20 to 30 in Alcaraz, Albacete, costing 320 euros. Both programs will apply 10% discounts for large and single-parent families.
The offer also includes English language immersion camps, which will be held at CEIP Federico García Lorca in two shifts during July, for minors aged 3 to 12, at a price of 186.40 euros per fortnight. In the cultural sphere, the Municipal School CAREA will organize a camp focused on music, theater, and corporal expression. It will run from June 29 to July 24 at CEIPSO Antonio Machado, with different rates depending on duration. Registrations for this modality are expected to begin between May and June.
Additionally, a specific camp has been designed for students of CPEE Miguel Hernández, which will run in two fortnights during July, with hours from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and a cost of 175 euros per period. Place allocation will follow the order of registration, prioritizing students registered in Colmenar Viejo and enrolled in this center.
Registrations for most modalities, with the exception of the music camp, will open on April 27. Places are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The program includes discounts for large and single-parent families in various activities, as well as reserved places for minors with special needs in urban camps.
