Colmenar Viejo has organized a comprehensive security and organizational plan for the upcoming 2026 Virgen de los Remedios Patron Festivals, aiming to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.

The special operation involves the coordinated participation of the Local Police, the Civil Guard, and Civil Protection. These personnel will be continuously deployed at festival venues, concert areas, parades, and other large-scale events to prevent incidents and address the needs of residents and visitors, thereby ensuring public order in high-traffic zones.
A key focus is inclusion, with the "Feria Sin Ruido" (Noise-Free Fair) initiative. Daily, between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, the Las Huertas Fairgrounds will silence its mechanical attractions and musical soundtracks. This measure is designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or high auditory sensitivity, allowing them to enjoy the fair in a calmer, adapted environment.
Children's entertainment is another central aspect of the program. On Tuesday, September 1st, Children's Day will be celebrated, offering a 50% discount on tickets for all mechanical rides at the Las Huertas Fairgrounds. Additionally, the Avenida de los Toros will host a Grand Inflatable Playground for several days, providing a free, supervised play area with morning and afternoon sessions.
