The Popular Party of Colmenar Viejo has announced a strategic agreement with the Community of Madrid for the development of new infrastructure and the construction of affordable housing in the municipality.

This pact, which seeks to address demographic growth and population needs, will be presented to residents at an information session on Sunday, April 19.
Among the most notable actions included in the protocol are the construction of a new school, a high school, a health center, and a senior citizens' residence. Additionally, a fire station and nearly 1,000 affordable rental homes, part of the Community of Madrid's Plan Vive, are planned. These initiatives aim to strengthen public services and facilitate access to housing in the town.

"The agreement responds to a line of work based on institutional collaboration and long-term planning. The relationship with the regional government has allowed us to advance on projects we consider priorities for the municipality."
