On May 26th, Colmenar Viejo will begin the application process for 67 homes under Plan Vive II, offering affordable rentals in the La Maquinilla neighborhood.

The initiative, promoted by the Community of Madrid, aims to facilitate housing access through market-adjusted prices. The new homes, located near Avenida de la Tejera, will feature one to three bedrooms and will be allocated based on registration order, with key handover expected in June.
Monthly rents for these homes start at 563 euros for one-bedroom units, 696 euros for two-bedroom units, and reach 1,096 euros for three-bedroom apartments. These prices, which include community fees, taxes, and charges passed on up to a maximum of 15%, are 20% to 40% below typical market values.
The development includes amenities such as garage, storage room, and common areas equipped with a swimming pool, gym, green spaces, and a children's play area. Additionally, concierge services, cleaning, and smart mailboxes will be provided.
Applications will be managed through a platform provided by the program's managing entity. Priority will be given to individuals registered in Colmenar Viejo or those who have worked in the municipality for at least three years, as a criterion to favor habitual residents.
Requirements to access these homes include being of legal age or an emancipated minor, holding Spanish nationality or legal residency in Spain, intending to use the home as a primary residence, not owning another property, and meeting income limits (between 1.5 and 5.5 times the IPREM) and rental payment limits (no more than 35% of annual income). Connection to the municipality will also be a preferential criterion.
