The Cobeña Town Council is bringing back the 'Lo Tengo Repe' initiative this April, providing a meeting point for children and young people to exchange trading cards and stickers in the municipality's parks, promoting community and healthy leisure.

With the arrival of good weather, the streets of Cobeña are once again filled with the excitement of those searching for that elusive trading card or sticker. This activity, already a classic on the local calendar, aims to offer a safe, open-air space for youngsters to socialize while managing their duplicates.
These initiatives not only cater to a recreational hobby but also revitalize public spaces, such as parks and squares, turning them into venues for an activity that spans generations. In an increasingly digital environment, the physical exchange of trading cards provides a valuable opportunity for minors to develop communication and negotiation skills in a fun and healthy way.

"These types of initiatives not only respond to a playful hobby, but also seek to revitalize public spaces, such as parks and squares, turning them into the setting for an activity that passes from generation to generation."

The schedule of meetings will run from late April until well into June, always on Sunday mornings from 12:00 to 14:00. This time slot is ideal for families to enjoy the morning together before lunch.
The organizers have planned for the events to be held at strategic points in the municipality to facilitate access for all residents. El Mirador Park will be the main venue for these gatherings, although Plaza de la Villa will also host one of the key days. The scheduled dates are: April 26 at El Mirador Park; May 24 and 31, also at El Mirador Park; June 14 at Plaza de la Villa; and the season closer on June 21, returning to El Mirador Park.
The 'Lo Tengo Repe' initiative is designed to accommodate all types of collections currently in circulation, from classic football stickers to modern collectible cards on various themes. Beyond simple exchange, these events aim to be a family meeting point, where parents and grandparents share memories of their own childhood collections and strengthen the sense of community in Cobeña.
