Families in San Sebastián de los Reyes have from April 27 to May 18 to submit the required documentation. These grants, which will be paid during the first quarter of the 2026-27 academic year, represent crucial financial support to cover school meal and material expenses.
The total budget of 600,000 euros is divided into two main lines: 400,000 euros will be allocated to school dining scholarships, while the remaining 200,000 euros are reserved for the purchase of school materials, including books and notebooks.

The scholarships are aimed at students residing in the municipality and enrolled in publicly funded centers. Educational levels covered include from the second cycle of Early Childhood Education up to Bachillerato and Basic or Intermediate Vocational Training, as well as Special Education.
To streamline the process, the City Council recommends submitting applications through its municipal electronic office. For those who prefer or need to do so in person, there is also the option to visit the municipal registries (SAC) or the Lopillo Municipal Center, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
The confirmation that the aid will be paid in the first quarter of the 2026-27 academic year is a highly valued aspect, as it allows families to have the money when they need it most, at the beginning of the school year, when major expenses are concentrated.
