The event, organized by the Physical Education department of the town's public schools, will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Seven primary education centers from the municipality will participate, with students forming mixed groups to tackle the challenges.
This year, the cooperative sports obstacle course activities have been designed by students from the Higher Technical Cycle in Teaching and Sociosports Animation (TSEAS) at the IES Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer in Algete. These students, under supervision, have not only created the activities but will also serve as monitors during the event, leading each station.
This intergenerational collaboration offers a dual benefit: for primary students, it's an opportunity to interact with peers from other schools and develop social skills; for TSEAS students, it represents valuable professional experience, applying their knowledge in a real-world setting.
Held at the end of the school year, the activity aims to facilitate encounters among 6th-grade students who will soon begin secondary education, fostering connections before their new academic stage.
The Interscholastic Games prioritize values such as respect, inclusion, and camaraderie, eliminating scores and rankings to focus on collective effort and the active participation of all attendees.
