The Alcobendas City Council has launched a comprehensive security operation for the San Isidro patron saint festivities, combining the presence of over 150 officers with surveillance technology and advice for residents.

The security plan, designed to ensure the well-being of citizens during the celebrations, includes coordination between the Local Police, the National Police, and Civil Protection volunteers. Daily, more than 30 officers will exclusively patrol the Fairground to guarantee a safe environment for families.
As a central control point, a Mobile Citizen Service Office and a command center have been established at the entrance of Avenida de Valdelaparra. This point will serve as a reference for anyone needing immediate assistance or quick information.
Human surveillance is complemented by an advanced technological system, including the installation of thirteen high-resolution cameras in areas with high concentrations of people. Additionally, a specific recording device will monitor the interior of the municipal booths' tent.
The operation also includes the participation of the Canine Unit, whose dogs are trained in detecting prohibited substances. Furthermore, specialized officers will be present to prevent situations of harassment and gender-based violence, prepared to intervene immediately at any sign of such behavior.

"It is vital not to lose sight of personal belongings, always carry your mobile phone in your front pockets, and keep your bag crossed in front of your body."

For the safety of children, Civil Protection offers a free service of identification bracelets. Parents are advised to collect these bracelets at the first aid post to facilitate the location of children in case they get lost. It is recommended not to write the child's name visibly on their clothing to prevent strangers from gaining their trust.
Authorities also call for responsible alcohol consumption, reminding that substance abuse increases vulnerability. For those unsure before driving, the Police offer indicative breathalyzer tests at their mobile office. In case of being a victim of any crime, 091 or 092 should be contacted immediately.
