The Alcobendas City Council has announced the opening of the application period for its summer camp lottery, featuring an innovative nautical stay in Oliva, Valencia, aimed at teenagers aged 13 to 15 during August.

The Department of Youth, Childhood, and Adolescence in Alcobendas has revamped its summer offerings, introducing a significant novelty: a nautical camp in Oliva. This initiative aims to provide an appealing alternative for young people and support family reconciliation during August, a period of high demand.
This experience is designed for teenagers aged 13 to 15, with overnight stays, and its main goal is for participants to disconnect from urban routines and immerse themselves in an environment of coexistence and learning within the Mediterranean nature. The program includes a wide range of water activities.
Young people will have the opportunity to learn or improve their skills in sports such as dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and paddle surfing. In addition to sports practice, recreational activities like pedal boats and the popular “banana sky” are planned, ensuring moments of fun and leisure.
Beyond the aquatic adrenaline, the camp fosters personal development and coexistence through workshops, group games, local excursions, and evening gatherings. The entire program is supervised by specialized animation teams, ensuring quality, safe, and educational leisure at all times.
The allocation of places will be carried out through a public lottery. Interested parties must request a participation number from April 10 at 8:30 AM until April 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM, exclusively through the municipal website. It is essential to be registered in Alcobendas, and only one number per minor and camp is allowed.
The public lottery will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Plenary Hall of the Alcobendas City Council, in the Plaza Mayor. A separate lottery will be held for each of the six camps offered this year. The results will be published on the municipal website, where families can check if they have secured a place or are on the waiting list.
Those who secure a place must formalize their registration and make the payment between April 24 and April 30 (until 2:00 PM). This process is entirely online and requires identification using Cl@ve, a digital certificate, or an electronic DNI. For inquiries, the City Council has provided the phone number 010 (or 91 296 90 88 from outside the municipality) and in-person assistance at the Citizen Service Office (SAC).
