The Alcobendas City Council has opened registration for 'June Afternoons', a municipal initiative designed to offer leisure activities and study support for children after school hours, covering the period from June 1st to June 19th.

Families in Alcobendas have until May 26th to sign up for ‘June Afternoons’, a municipal program aimed at addressing the need for work-life balance during the first three weeks of the month. The program will operate in all public schools in the city that have a minimum demand of eight participants.
This initiative combines recreational and leisure activities with a space for homework and study support, adapting to each school's schedule. The goal is for children to enjoy organized free time while their parents or guardians finish their workday.
The program offers flexibility through various options. There is a one-hour option without a snack for 46.50 euros. For those needing up to three hours with an included snack, prices vary based on weekly attendance days, ranging from 65.25 euros for five days a week to 26.10 euros for two days. Daily drop-in options are also available at 5.35 euros per day for occasional needs.
The registration process is exclusively online and must be completed through the Alcobendas City Council's Electronic Office, accessible via the municipal website alcobendas.org. The deadline is Tuesday, May 26th, and in-person registrations will not be accepted. It is advisable to have a digital certificate or other usual electronic identification methods ready.
