The third call for this aid, whose bases were published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM) on July 7, will allow applications to be submitted starting September 7. Interested families will receive detailed information on the procedure before that date.
The Cheque Bebé is an economic aid of 500 euros for families registered in Alcobendas. For this edition, a budget of 390,000 euros has been allocated from the municipal fund. Requirements include that the birth, adoption, or fostering of the minor must have occurred between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, and that at least one of the parents or guardians has been registered in the municipality for a minimum of three years.
Since its inception, the program has benefited over 620 families. This initiative is part of a broader plan to support birth rates and families with young children, which includes a Birth Rate Plan, other financial aids, and programs for pregnant women and mothers with babies up to 24 months old.
The mayor of Alcobendas has emphasized the importance of these policies, stating that "the implementation of policies to promote birth rates, work-life balance, and support for families has been a priority for this government team. Families are the future of our city and deserve special attention."
As the application opening date approaches, families who meet the requirements can review the bases published in the BOCM to prepare the necessary documentation and expedite the process.
