Colmenar Viejo has launched the registration process today, May 18, for access to 43 affordable rental homes under the Plan Vive II in the El Navallar neighborhood, an initiative by the Community of Madrid.

The call aims to expand the supply of protected housing for rent in the municipality, offering rents significantly below current market rates. The new homes are located at Calle Francisco Revellés Tejada, 1, and are designed to facilitate access to a primary residence for individuals with specific income levels.
The development includes one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, each equipped with a garage, storage room, and terrace. Common areas feature an outdoor gym, a children's play area, and smart mailboxes. Monthly rents range from 542 euros for one-bedroom units, 755 euros for two-bedroom units, and up to 959 euros for three-bedroom units. These prices represent a reduction of 20% to 40% compared to the market, and include community fees and property tax (IBI) up to 15% of the rent.
The application process will be conducted exclusively online through the designated website, with no in-person option available. Allocation will be based on the order of registration, with key handover anticipated between June and July.
Eligibility requirements include using the home as a primary residence, not owning another property in Spain, being of legal age or emancipated minor, holding Spanish nationality or legal residency, and meeting income limits (between 1.5 and 5.5 times the IPREM). Additionally, no more than 35% of family income should be allocated to rent. Priority will be given to those registered or employed in Colmenar Viejo for at least three years.
