The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has tendered for €780,166 (VAT included) a works contract for the reopening to traffic of the M-110 road, within the municipality of Alcobendas, in Madrid. The tender announcement has been published on the Public Sector Contracting Platform (PLACSP) and will soon be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The works include a specific intervention on a 53-meter stretch to restore the M-110 road's functionality to its pre-closure state. This involves removing the existing mini-roundabout, dismantling the barrier used to close the road, removing associated signage, reconstructing the affected road surface, and installing new signage. Additionally, milling and resurfacing of the asphalt layer will be carried out along the entire state-managed section of the M-110, between the roundabout north of the airport and the connection with the M-12 road.
These efforts will contribute to improving mobility in the new Valdebebas neighborhood, reducing travel times and atmospheric emissions. The project is part of the conservation and maintenance program for the State Road Network, aiming to significantly enhance the service quality of existing state road infrastructure.
