The Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to the cultivation and distribution of marijuana in the northern Community of Madrid, resulting in the arrest of fourteen individuals and the investigation of one more.

The investigation, which began early this year, focused on an indoor marijuana plantation located in a residence in Talamanca del Jarama. This discovery initiated an operation that allowed agents to track the criminal network.
During the inquiries, investigators identified two vans used by the organization to transport the drugs between different rented properties. One of them was intercepted carrying 16 kilograms of vacuum-sealed cannabis buds, ready for distribution.
Additionally, it was discovered that a house in Ribatejada served as a central warehouse, or “nursery,” where the substance was hidden before being moved to other sales points.

"The group had a hierarchical structure, with a leader and two trusted individuals responsible for coordinating the preparation and movement of marijuana."

The operation culminated in five home searches, where 94 kilograms of prepared and packaged cannabis buds, 2,357 marijuana plants, cultivation equipment, and 25,350 euros in cash were seized. Those arrested are being investigated for alleged involvement in public health offenses, belonging to a criminal organization, and electricity fraud.
