The Socialist Municipal Group of El Molar has filed a motion for the upcoming municipal plenary session to demand an increase in healthcare personnel from the Community of Madrid.

The initiative arises from growing public concern over healthcare deficiencies. According to the proposing group, the shortage of professionals at the El Molar Health Center is causing significant delays and excessive workload for the current staff, negatively impacting the quality of service provided to residents.
The proposal urges the regional government to immediately fill vacancies in key areas such as family medicine, pediatrics, and nursing. It also calls for the creation of a specific reinforcement plan that takes into account the significant population increase the municipality has experienced in recent years.
In addition to hiring measures, the motion proposes that the Town Council request fluid and constant communication from the Department of Health regarding the status of the staff and planned actions to ensure agile and accessible public healthcare.
