El Molar is gearing up for a weekend full of tradition and community spirit with the celebration of its April Fair on April 25th and 26th at the San Isidro Fairgrounds.

Spring in El Molar will take on a special color with the arrival of an event that has become essential in the local calendar. During the last weekend of April, the municipality will transform to host the April Fair, a festivity that seeks to bring together families and friends around flamenco art and a good atmosphere. The chosen location is once again the Fairgrounds located on San Isidro Street, a spacious area equipped to host the various booths and stages where the activities will take place.
This event is not only an opportunity to enjoy dancing but also a meeting point for residents where Andalusian culture firmly establishes itself in the town. The organization has designed a program that kicks off on Saturday, April 25th, at 12:30 PM, when the fair officially opens its doors to begin two uninterrupted days of celebration.
Saturday's schedule stands out for its variety, catering to both children and adults. After the opening, children will be the protagonists with a workshop and children's entertainment at 12:45 PM. Shortly after, at 1:30 PM, one of the fair's most visual moments will take place: the flamenco costume contest, which will have categories for both children and adults.
Music will begin to play loudly in the afternoon. At 4:00 PM, a representative from the Toro de la Fuente Bullfighting Association will offer a live performance. The rhythm will not wane, as at 6:00 PM, the anticipated Sevillanas dance competition, organized by the Majarromero Women's Association, will be held. The day will continue with a performance by a local artist at 8:00 PM and will extend well into the early morning with the Fair Night led by a DJ, closing the day at 3:00 AM.
On Sunday, April 26th, activities will resume from noon. At 12:45 PM, the children's workshop will be repeated for those who could not attend the previous day. Music will once again take over at 1:00 PM with the performance of the Sevillanas by Majarromero, followed by a musical group at 2:00 PM, who will provide the soundtrack for lunchtime. The fair will conclude on Sunday at 6:00 PM, ending two days of festivities that promise to leave a great taste in the mouths of attendees.
No fair is complete without its gastronomic offerings, and on this occasion, residents will be able to enjoy a selection of drinks, sandwiches, and tortilla skewers. In addition, it has been announced that there will be cold tapas for sale and a very special detail: complimentary rebujito for attendees. To encourage participation, several prizes and raffles have been established, including a 50-euro prize for the winner of the Sevillanas competition and a ham raffle.
