The Community of Madrid is hosting Radar Madrid, a new international professional gathering that brings together over 100 music industry agents from October 19 to 21 to facilitate business opportunities for artists and companies in the region.

The event, promoted by the regional government and organized by the platform Charco, combines professional sessions with over 30 live performances across five venues of the Madrid en Vivo association. The program aims to strengthen ties between Spain, Latin America, the United States, and Europe, facilitating contact between artists and companies with international programmers and agents.
The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport, Mariano de Paco Serrano, emphasized the importance of "supporting the sector so that talent and companies from the region expand their national and international reach." He announced that aid for improving the competitiveness of the music industry will increase by more than 40% between 2026 and 2028.
According to a socioeconomic impact study, the music industry contributes 1.94 billion euros in regional gross value added, generates 21,815 jobs, and its fiscal impact reaches 695 million euros. The sector comprises 7,854 companies.
The region recorded nearly 35,000 concerts and 6.9 million spectators in 2025, with ticket revenue amounting to 237 million euros. The Movistar Arena ranked as the second venue worldwide with the most tickets sold. 43% of the audience comes from outside the region, generating associated tourism spending of 1.713 billion euros.
Performances will be spread across five venues: La Sala (Movistar Arena), Teatro Magno, Babylon, El Sol, and Cadavra, featuring artists such as Jorge Drexler, Tanxugueiras, Israel Fernández, Natalia Lacunza, and Blanca Paloma among the confirmed acts.
