The Community of Madrid will expand its employment training network, increasing its Madrilenian Innovation and Training Centers from five to seven and adding six Integrated Vocational Training Centers. The aim is to improve coordination between the educational and labor spheres and respond more effectively to the needs of workers and companies.
The Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert, announced this expansion during the meeting of the Regional Vocational Training Committee, which brings together representatives from the regional government, business organizations, trade unions, and the Federation of Municipalities of Madrid.
Albert emphasized that the goal of these additions is to "train people better," adapting to rapid technological change and supporting workers throughout their professional careers. In line with this, the 2026-2028 Training Plan has been updated to include digital skills, languages, Artificial Intelligence, and relational skills.
This update aims to increase the average employment rate for these courses, which currently exceeds 60% and reaches 100% in certain specializations.
