The Community of Madrid has advanced the development of the SUMMA 360 Plan to strengthen health emergencies with the establishment of the Specific Technical Committee.

This new specialized body will be responsible for participation, analysis, and proposal development, which may subsequently be subject to negotiation in the Sectoral Committee. It is a stable and permanent space for dialogue between the regional Administration and the trade union representatives of the Medical Emergency Service.
The Deputy Minister of Health, Laura Gutiérrez, chaired the first meeting of this new body. Its creation addresses the functional, organizational, and labor uniqueness of the public health emergency service.
This service combines healthcare provision with mobile resources, an emergency coordination center, permanent operation, and response to catastrophes and multiple-victim incidents, as well as the diversity of professional profiles.
