The Vice-Minister of Housing, Transport, and Infrastructure, José María García, participated in the third edition of the Madrid Investment Forum, an event organized by the regional Government to showcase Madrid's advantages to foreign investors.
García emphasized that "without stability, without public-private collaboration, and without legal certainty, there is no investment, and without investment, there is no affordable housing." He noted that several urban development projects, blocked for years, are now progressing rapidly.
The Community of Madrid already accounts for over 40% of protected properties in Spain. The Plan Vive will be expanded with 2,500 new homes, particularly aimed at individuals under 35, bringing the total initiated during this legislative term to 16,500.
Furthermore, eight new residences are planned through the Plan Vive for Security, Health, and University initiatives, involving the regional Executive, companies, city councils, and universities.
