The Community of Madrid has approved an investment of nearly 700,000 euros for the launch of a specialized comprehensive care center for adult women in prostitution.

The objective of the new facility is to provide tools for their integration into the labor market and offer a comprehensive recovery program. The center will provide information, reception, social support, legal advice, and psychological assistance.
Additionally, the service will include socio-health and intercultural mediation. A socio-labor plan will be developed to equip women with job skills, social abilities, and personal autonomy to promote their full integration into society.
This center falls under the General Directorate for Women, affiliated with the Ministry of Family, Youth, and Social Affairs, and is aimed at women in situations of vulnerability or personal and social conflict.
In cases of violence, the women served, their children, and dependents can access the specialized care network of the Community of Madrid. This network includes emergency resources, shelter, supervised apartments, and residential places for victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation, young people, inmates, and former inmates, as well as two 24-hour Crisis Centers.
