The Community of Madrid will reopen the M-305 road, connecting Aranjuez and Seseña, in early 2027, after it was closed in September due to damage from an irrigation channel.

The Community of Madrid will reopen the M-305 road, which connects the municipalities of Aranjuez and Seseña (Castilla-La Mancha), at the beginning of 2027. The route has been closed since the first week of September due to damage caused by an irrigation channel belonging to the Tajo Hydrographic Confederation.
The Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, Jorge Rodrigo, visited the works, describing them as "progressing at a good pace" and "being executed as an emergency to guarantee driver safety and restore circulation as soon as possible." The actions, involving an investment of 3.7 million euros, include the demolition, already completed, and the construction of a new bridge.
Rodrigo detailed that "the foundation work for the new road has already begun, with the drilling of the 72 planned piles." He added that a "novel design, without traditional joints or supports, has been chosen," which aims to reduce the risk of future water infiltration, lower maintenance costs, and improve the road's lifespan.
In coordination with archaeologists from the Directorate General of Heritage, the parapet of the old bridge has been preserved and enhanced, given its historical significance.
The works, being carried out at kilometer point 0.800, have involved provisional diversions towards the M-307 and the A-4. A newly built roundabout has been enabled to facilitate access to the capital, reducing the route for drivers to rejoin the operational section of the M-305 by up to 15 kilometers.
