The exhibition dedicated to Juana González, titled ‘Indómita pintura’ and curated by Fernando Castro Flórez, features 34 pieces from the artist's last ten years. The show explores her baroque, neo-expressionist, and post-surrealist universe, including large-format paintings and sculptural-installation pieces that interact with the building's architecture.
The second exhibition, ‘El instante es semilla viva’ (The Moment is a Living Seed), curated by María García Márqués, presents the work of eight emerging artists: Adela Angulo, Natalia Cardoso García, José Casas, Livia Daniel, Julieta Hsiung, Rubén Ojeda Guzmán, Maya Pita-Romero, and Pablo Quesada. Inspired by a quote from Clarice Lispector, the exhibition reflects on capturing the present and transforming the environment through small gestures.
Until April 18, 2027, CentroCentro also hosts ‘Teresa Moro. Colección particular, sin título’ (Private Collection, Untitled), curated by Susana Bañuelos. This exhibition displays everyday objects and their evocative power, through a selection of pieces from the studios of Madrid's creators.
The fourth exhibition is ‘Elena Jiménez. Me das tus manos. Archivo de mujeres creadoras’ (You Give Me Your Hands. Archive of Women Creators), curated by María Ortega. It presents part of the sculptural and artistic research project by Elena Jiménez (National Graphic Art Prize 2025), which gathers the imprints of over 80 contemporary women artists, aligning with contemporary feminist practices and the recovery of historically silenced narratives.
