An infrastructure breakdown at Atocha station has caused significant delays and service cuts on four Cercanías Madrid lines this Wednesday morning.

The incident, affecting lines C-3, C-4, C-7, and C-10, has been confirmed by Renfe through its incident channel. While delays are widespread, some of these lines have experienced complete interruptions in certain sections.
Specifically, C-4a trains are only running between Alcobendas and Chamartín. To the south, line C-4 operates solely from Parla to Villaverde Alto, while C-4b trains run from Colmenar Viejo to Atocha. Despite these disruptions, it is possible to travel north-south using other sections of the lines that are currently operational.
Meanwhile, C-7 trains have been diverted north, running from Chamartín-Fuente de la Mora towards San Fernando, bypassing their usual central route. Line C-3 operates between Aranjuez and Chamartín, and C-10 maintains its regular routes.

"Work is underway to resolve the incident as quickly as possible."
