AEMET has updated its weather alerts for the Community of Madrid, adding a yellow warning for rain to the existing one for storms. This measure, communicated by 112 Comunidad de Madrid, implies special vigilance in anticipation of adverse weather phenomena.

The rain warning will be active throughout Thursday, specifically between 12:00 and 21:00 hours. An accumulation of up to 15 liters per square meter is expected within one hour, which could lead to incidents in various areas of the region.

This new alert complements the yellow storm warning that 112 had already disseminated on Wednesday to local councils and organizations, based on information provided by AEMET. The storm warning will remain active from 12:00 to 22:00 hours on Thursday.

Weather forecasts indicate the possibility of precipitation accompanied by hail in specific areas of the Community of Madrid, which could worsen the situation in some localities.
