The Community of Madrid has integrated its leisure, culture, and tourism portal, VisitMadrid, into the Cuenta Digital platform, aiming to simplify access to information on destinations and personalized activities for both residents and visitors.

This integration, effective since January 2025, seeks to optimize the planning of stays in the region for both national and international travelers. The portal offers a wide range of content, including prominent landmarks, cultural events, and the ability to design tailor-made itineraries, adapted to available time and user interests.
Among the most frequently consulted sections of VisitMadrid are suggestions for activities in Madrid and the cultural agenda, available in both Spanish and English. The Community emphasizes that this initiative not only enhances the user experience but also promotes the discovery of lesser-known municipalities and natural and heritage sites within the region.

The incorporation of VisitMadrid into Cuenta Digital can contribute to revitalizing the local economy and strengthening local commerce, by facilitating access to the tourist offerings of different parts of the Community beyond the capital.

Driven by the Ministry of Digitalization, this measure expands the services offered by Cuenta Digital, a platform that recorded nearly 10 million accesses to over 220 services by the end of 2025. Currently, more than 1.1 million users manage their procedures through this channel, which now accounts for almost 70 percent of citizen interactions with the autonomous administration.
Over the past year, VisitMadrid has surpassed 650,000 visits and registered over one million inquiries. Data indicates that most accesses originate from Spain (48.3%), followed by the United States (14.4%) and the United Kingdom (6.3%). Mobile usage has become the primary access method, with over 60% of users consulting tourism information from their phones.
