Valdeolmos-Alalpardo Celebrates Festivals with Successful Charity Drive

Valdeolmos-Alalpardo has celebrated its patron saint festivals with notable neighborhood participation, highlighting the 41st edition of the Villa de Alalpardo Popular Race, which successfully raised 200 euros for the local branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

The town is immersed in its celebrations, where solidarity has been a key theme. The traditional Villa de Alalpardo Popular Race, celebrating its 41st anniversary this year, received a great turnout. One euro from each participant's bib was donated to the local AECC, totaling 200 euros for the cause.
The sporting event took place in a festive atmosphere, offering 5 and 10 kilometer routes, as well as a children's race, allowing participants to enjoy the natural and urban surroundings of the municipality.
The festival program also included other events of interest. In gastronomy, the potato omelet contest gathered 19 participants. In sports, the Fourth Alalpardo Festival Trophy saw the Club de Fútbol Alalpardo emerge victorious after an exciting penalty shootout against Club Deportivo El Casar.
The festivals in Alalpardo continue these days with a schedule full of activities for all audiences, maintaining tradition and neighborhood participation.
