The exhibition, titled Las Sedes de Metro. Un recorrido por el desarrollo urbano de Madrid, uses the history of the company's administrative buildings as a thread to explain the city's growth and territorial development.
Key items on display include two large-scale models. One reproduces the Casa de Metro project, designed by architect Antonio Palacios, which was never built. The other highlights the connection between the company's early offices and the construction of Gran Vía, one of the most significant urban projects of the 20th century.
The collection also features historical documents, original blueprints, vintage photographs, and everyday items from the early 1900s, such as typewriters and calculators, providing insight into the network's early operations.
The exhibition is located on the ground floor of Metro's corporate headquarters at avenida de Asturias, 4. Admission is free, and it will remain open until the end of December 2026, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00.
