The National Police have arrested two individuals involved in the homicide of a 37-year-old man on Moncada Street in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, Villaverde district of Madrid, which took place on January 1st during a large brawl.

Three months after the incident, agents of the National Police have successfully identified and apprehended the alleged perpetrators of the assault that resulted in the death of a man of Moroccan origin. The events occurred on the night of January 1st on Moncada Street, in the San Cristóbal neighborhood of Villaverde, during a confrontation between two groups of young people.
The victim was attacked by several individuals who inflicted multiple stab wounds. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the man severely injured on the sidewalk, with various stab wounds to his neck, leg, and abdomen. This last wound, presumably penetrating, caused massive internal bleeding, leading to cardiorespiratory arrest and his death hours later at Hospital 12 de Octubre.
Investigations revealed that the attack might have been a retaliation for a previous assault, possibly related to a debt. Following a thorough inquiry, officers identified the suspects and set up a special operation for their location. Finally, on March 26th, the two men were arrested, one of whom is believed to be the material author of the homicide. Both have been remanded in custody after appearing before a judge.
