The distinction was presented at the ESIC headquarters in Pozuelo de Alarcón. María Pérez, technical director of Madrid Excelente, presented the seal to María Teresa Freire, vice-president of ESIC University, in an event also attended by Gracia Serrano, Director of Institutional Relations and Corporate Projects of the institution.
This recognition follows the successful completion of the Madrid Excelente evaluation process, which highlights the management model of ESIC University and its focus on training adapted to the needs of the professional environment. With 60 years of history, the institution has developed an evolving educational model, adapted to market transformations. During the 2025-2026 academic year, it has over 18,000 students and 1,285 employees.
The link between training and the job market is reflected in an employability rate of 96%. ESIC University's alumni community exceeds 80,000 members from 83 nationalities, and the institution maintains over 175 international academic agreements.
