The accident took place around 5:35 AM this Friday. Emergency services, including the Community of Madrid Firefighters and Summa 112 medical personnel, were dispatched to the scene. They attended to the five male victims involved in the incident.
Firefighters had to extricate the driver and sole occupant of one of the vehicles, who was in cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite resuscitation efforts, his death was confirmed.
The second car was carrying four men. One of them also suffered cardiorespiratory arrest and tragically passed away. The other three occupants, aged between 18 and 36, presented with multiple traumas.
The injured were transported to Puerta de Hierro, Doce de Octubre, and Gregorio Marañón hospitals for medical treatment. Firefighters also carried out road cleaning operations to restore normal traffic flow.
The Civil Guard has launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the collision.
