The traveling market La Despensa de Madrid, an initiative by the Community of Madrid, will be set up this Sunday on the Boulevard of Avenida de Europa, in Pozuelo de Alarcón. The event aims to bring the region's agri-food offerings closer to consumers through approximately twenty stalls.
Located between Carretera de Húmera and the Víctimas del Terrorismo roundabout, the market will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The City Council of Pozuelo has confirmed the exact location and the direct presence of producers at each stall.
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of local food products, including oil, olives, smoked goods, fresh meat, craft beer, chocolate, preserves, cured meats, empanadas, legumes, liquors, honey, vermouth, and regional wines.
The selection will also include organic produce and products with Designation of Origin, as detailed in the municipal information note. The organization emphasizes that the initiative promotes "the great variety and quality of proximity products."
