Local government officials have described the 2026 edition as one of the most successful, emphasizing safety, the quality of free concerts, and the extensive Fair and Peñas Venue. The Night of Fire, children's activities, Plaza Nights, the Day-Tardeo Fair, the Parade of Peñas, and the Bullfighting Fair all contributed to the high participation.
The free concerts were a major draw, with daily sell-outs at the Concert Venue. Performances by artists such as David Bisbal, Hombres G, Tiësto, Saiko, Leire Martínez, David Bustamante, and El Chojin received praise from attendees, who considered them the best lineup to date.
Memorable moments included David Bisbal's concert, which saw an unprecedented sell-out with a unique show, his only performance in the Community of Madrid. Also noteworthy were the performances by Leire Martínez, former vocalist of La Oreja de Van Gogh, and DJ Mar Montoro from Kiss FM.
Hombres G provided the grand finale to the major concerts with a performance that gathered thousands of fans across multiple generations. The highly anticipated Night of Fire also drew tens of thousands of people for an impressive pyrotechnic display.
DJ Tiësto delivered a historic night as part of his world tour, making the city a hub for electronic music. The evening also featured a joint set by Brian Cross and Joyse, with warm-up sets by Alekos Rubio from Hit FM.
Saiko attracted a large crowd for his sole performance in the Community of Madrid, confirming his status as a musical phenomenon, with special guests Raul Clyde and Yapi. The musical prelude was handled by DJ Josué Gómez from Hit FM.
The musical program kicked off with El Chojin, a prominent figure in Spanish rap, accompanied by DUO KIE. DJ Marcos Fernández from Hit FM performed before the concert.
The Plaza Nights began with David Bustamante, who drew thousands to the Plaza Mayor. Later, Andy presented his new solo artistic phase, connecting with the audience.
The Plaza Mayor also hosted a successful Tribute to Camilo Sesto, Raphael, and Nino Bravo show by David Velardo, and a concert Homage to Great Singers by Sylvia Pantoja.
The Bullfighting Fair included the traditional night bull run and a bullfight on horseback featuring Andy Cartagena, Leonardo Hernández, and Sebastián Fernández. Morning bull runs saw high participation.
The Sunday bullfight featured Miguel Ángel Perera, David de Miranda, and Rafael de Julia, with David de Miranda being the only matador to exit through the Puerta Grande. On Monday, Alejandro Talavante, Juan Ortega, and Víctor Hernández also exited through the Puerta Grande in one of the fair's most notable bullfights.
The bull-reaping contest filled the Bullring, concluding a Bullfighting Fair noted for its quality lineups and large attendance.
Other notable activities included the opening speech by the Chief Commissioner of the Local Police of Torrejón de Ardoz, Miguel Parra, the Torremusic Festival, children's morning events, the Day-Tardeo Fair, and the traditional Parade of Peñas, showcasing the festive spirit of local groups.
The festivals were characterized by excellent organization and security, with extensive operational support. The City Council allocated 3 million euros of its annual budget (169 million) to festivals and cultural events, promoting culture and leisure for residents.
New features were implemented to enhance attendee experience, including stage orientation changes, a new entrance/exit for better mobility, awning installations, and the creation of a Quiet Space.
Gratitude was expressed to the peñas, associations, security forces, volunteers, health services, municipal workers, and the Bullfighting Advisory Council for their efforts, as well as to the citizens for their responsible behavior.
