The incident, which occurred on Avenida de Andalucía, required the intervention of multiple emergency and security services. The VTC driver, aged 42, was trapped inside the vehicle after the severe collision. Several units from Madrid Firefighters worked on extrication to free him safely.
Once rescued, SAMUR-Civil Protection paramedics attended to the driver, who had a hand injury and a possible pelvic fracture. He was immediately transported to a hospital for medical attention.
The VTC passenger was also affected by the crash, suffering various contusions. Medical teams assisted her at the scene and later transferred her to a hospital for a more thorough evaluation.
Officers from the Municipal Police of Madrid have launched an investigation to determine the causes and exact dynamics of the accident. The official report is being compiled to clarify the events.
