These awards, established as a benchmark in active aging and sociosanitary innovation, aim to highlight initiatives with significant social impact, transformative capacity, and a contribution to more human-centered care.
The deadline for submitting projects, driven by companies, social organizations, professionals, and public administrations from across the national territory, will remain open until next September 15.
As a main novelty, the 17th edition incorporates two new distinctions: the Award for Responsible Sociosanitary Company and the Senior Talent Award. These categories aim to recognize management models focused on care quality, sustainability, and professional well-being, as well as the value and experience of older workers.
The awards are divided into two main areas: Senior Category and Sociosanitary Care Category. The former includes awards for the Promotion of Active Aging, Health and Well-being, Against Unwanted Loneliness, Public Initiative, and Senior Talent. The latter encompasses the 3rd Vitalia-Senda Award for Research and Innovation, Public Initiative, Responsible Sociosanitary Company Award, Senda Health Award, and Senda Professional of the Sector Award.
The jury will particularly evaluate proposals based on their real impact, innovation, sustainability, and commitment to improving care for the elderly and dependent individuals. In addition to the competitive categories, several special non-competitive recognitions will be presented, including the new 1st Club of Caregivers–Senda Award 'Lives in Care', aimed at professionals and companies in residential and home care.
The 12th Eulen-Senda Award for Leadership of Older Persons will also be presented, recognizing those who promote the active participation of this group, along with the traditional Senior of the Year Award, a special recognition for a distinguished public figure.
The awards ceremony will take place next November in Madrid, bringing together over 200 representatives from the sociosanitary sector. This edition reaffirms Grupo Senda's commitment to a strategic area for society, promoting the recognition of projects that contribute to building a longer-lived, active, and inclusive society.
