The incident was reported on the evening of Tuesday, June 16. Following confirmation, local pediatricians were contacted to request stool cultures from any minors presenting with symptoms at their clinics, according to sources from the Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid.
The corresponding health protocol has been initiated, and an inspection was conducted at the educational center's kitchen. Samples of food served on Monday, June 15, the day before the outbreak was declared, were collected during the inspection.
To ensure parents are aware of the situation, an informational note has been sent to the school's administration for distribution to the families.
