The concert offers a symphonic journey through the most iconic themes from the 007 agent's films, as highlighted by the City Council. This event marks the start of a program that will run throughout the summer in various city locations.
The festival's program continues on Saturday with 'Sketches of Latin Miles', a tribute to the centenary of Miles Davis that will explore the trumpeter's influence on Latin jazz. Additionally, the free tour 'Fuman, the traveling musician clown' will visit different Madrid districts.
Until August 30, the exhibition 'Yo fui a EGB' will be open in Hall 1 of Conde Duque. Between July 20 and 26, flamenco, music, and dance will take center stage with artists such as Kiki Morente, José del Tomate, Lila Downs, London City Ballet, and Jesús Carmona.
Premieres include 'Taranta Gitana', which fuses Italian tarantella with flamenco gypsy rumba, and performances by Lila Downs, who will blend traditional Mexican music with contemporary sounds. Dance will be featured by the London City Ballet and the gala 'Bailando al tiempo' directed by Jesús Carmona.
The Municipal Symphonic Band of Madrid will also host a workshop for young musicians from July 22 to 24, culminating in a free concert at the bandstand in Retiro Park. The 'Cine Caliente' cycle will return with screenings at the Bombilla Park.
