The five finalists of the Rock Villa de Madrid Awards 2026, Carmen Lillo, Catuxa Salom, Dear Joanne, Jike, and Dura Calá, are set to perform in concert on May 15th at Las Vistillas, as part of the San Isidro celebrations in Madrid.

This event, integrated into the San Isidro Festivities program, underscores the significant role of music in Madrid's celebrations. For decades, the festive agenda has expanded beyond traditional genres, hosting major bands and artists who, in many cases, made their debut in this renowned music competition in the capital.
Now in its 46th edition, the competition continues to discover new talents and explore the Spanish music scene. The concert featuring the finalists will take place on Friday, May 15th, at 6:00 PM in Las Vistillas.
Although the winner has not yet been announced, the competition will award a prize of 6,000 euros to the first-place finisher, while the second and third places will receive 3,000 and 1,000 euros, respectively. Additionally, two special mentions, each worth 500 euros, will be granted. Participants also have the chance to win the Radio 3 Award, which includes recording for Los Conciertos de Radio 3, and the AIE Award for Best Performer, allowing the winner to participate in the first cycle of AIEnRuta Artistas 2027.
As a guest band, Camellos will join the emerging artists, performing a special concert at 9:45 PM to mark their tenth anniversary. Their performance at Las Vistillas promises a journey through their repertoire, characterized by satire, criticism, and a bold attitude.
Over more than four decades, the competition has propelled numerous artists who later established themselves in the Spanish music scene, including Kaka de Luxe, Paraíso, Obús, Los Nikis, Derribos Arias, Glutamato Yeyé, Los Enemigos, La Frontera, Novedades Carminha, La Maravillosa Orquesta del Alcohol (La M.O.D.A.), and Biznaga. Although its name suggests rock, the competition embraces diverse genres, including indie, electronic, pop, and urban music. The performances will be broadcast live by Radio 3 and hosted by Nacho Álvaro.
