Residents living near the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium have appealed to the Ombudsman to address the significant impact of large-scale events, particularly concerts, on their neighborhood, citing issues with noise, mobility, and community coexistence.

The Las Musas-Las Rosas Neighborhood Association has lodged a formal complaint with the Ombudsman, Ángel Gabilondo, concerning the repercussions of mass events at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. This initiative, supported by the Regional Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Madrid (FRAVM), seeks constitutional protection to ensure compliance with current regulations.
Among the primary concerns are the ten concerts scheduled by artist Bad Bunny at the venue between May 30 and June 15. The association emphasizes that these shows, some planned on weekdays, exacerbate an already problematic situation due to the stadium's increasing musical activity.

Since the venue's inauguration in 2017, the concentration of up to 68,000 people at certain events leads to recurrent problems of noise, mobility, traffic jams, lack of parking, insecurity, and street litter.

Residents also criticize the stadium's design, pointing out that its “large lateral openings” act as an “inexhaustible source” of noise for nearby homes, allegedly exceeding legal limits. Furthermore, they question the organization of “private and lucrative” concerts without specific licenses for non-sporting events.
Complaints extend to mobility, with difficulties accessing homes, traffic congestion, and parking issues, compounded by restaurant terraces occupying sidewalks. They propose measures such as reducing capacity, temporary closure of the stadium, traffic restrictions, improvements to access roads like the M-40, A-2, and R-3, and strengthening public transport, especially Metro Line 2.
