The Community of Madrid has implemented a temporary remote consumer information service due to forest fires in the Sierra Oeste of Madrid and municipalities with preventive restrictions.

The Directorate General of Commerce, Consumption, and Services of the Community of Madrid has announced the temporary provision of consumer information services in a remote format. This measure is a consequence of the forest fires affecting the Sierra Oeste of Madrid.
The remote service will also be effective in those surrounding municipalities where competent authorities have established preventive restrictions or recommendations that may impact the usual development of the service. Citizens are urged to pay close attention to official communications.
To resolve consumer queries, the Directorate General of Commerce, Consumption, and Services provides the email address: consultas.consumo@madrid.org.

"We hope that the situation can stabilize and be resolved as soon as possible, and we extend our support and solidarity to all affected individuals, as well as our recognition to the emergency services and those working to control this situation."
