The Museo Centro Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid is set to host the inaugural edition of 'Read Madrid. Festival de Libros e Ideas' on April 17 and 18, an event that will gather various voices from the literary and intellectual spheres.

This new cultural gathering will feature the participation of renowned authors such as Louisa Yousfi, Pastora Filigrana, Dahlia de la Cerda, Luciana Cadahia, Layla Martínez, and Mario Obrero, who will enrich the festival's program.
Additionally, the literary event will include the presence of other prominent figures like Fernanda Trías, Pedro G. Romero, Alberto Santamaría, Luz Pichel, Munir Hachemi, Nuria Alabao, and Olga Rodriguez, completing an agenda designed for this occasion.

Its program seeks to open new communities of interpretation and horizons of political imagination through the common space built by essay, study, reading, and writing.

The festival's organization, as announced by the Reina Sofía Museum, has structured its program around three main thematic axes: "the popular minority, or how to activate an emancipatory popular practice," "rabid peace," and "fiction versus oblivion," aiming to foster debate and reflection.
