A charity match will pit Real Madrid basketball legends against Avenida 50 veterans on June 28th in Móstoles, aiming to raise funds for a special education project.

A team composed of basketball legends from Real Madrid will face veterans from Avenida 50 in a charity match. The event's primary objective is to raise funds for the ‘Walking Towards the Future’ project, driven by the Miguel de Unamuno Public Special Education Center.
The organization is managed by Peña Madridista Ángel, the Mostoleña Association of Basketball Friends (AMABAL), and the Basketball Association in Móstoles (ABM), with the support of the Móstoles City Council. The game is scheduled for Sunday, June 28th, at 12:00 PM in the Paco Sedano pavilion.
The sports day will also feature a free-throw contest for children aged 8 to 13. Registrations for this competition will open at 9:30 AM, with an expected participation of around 200 minors. The contest will conclude approximately at 11:30 AM.
Entry to the event is free, though attendees will have the option to make a donation of two euros per ticket. This donation will grant entry into a raffle for various prizes, including a jersey from the Real Madrid basketball team signed by all its players. Solidarity tickets can be purchased at Taberna Gobana, located at Ciudad Dolores Hidalgo street, number 20.

The funds raised will be allocated to the ‘Walking Towards the Future’ project, which aims to finance the acquisition of a pediatric exoskeleton for the physiotherapy sessions of the students at CPEE Miguel de Unamuno.

This medical device provides stability during walking and is designed to assist children with neurological and neuromuscular conditions. Its use allows for walking while maintaining eye contact and keeping hands free for other therapeutic activities, promoting comprehensive rehabilitation.
This initiative joins other previous solidarity actions with the same purpose. Notably, the urban dance festival held on April 11th in the same Paco Sedano pavilion, organized by the MDD (Móstoles Dancing Deluxe) school, which brought together over 850 dancers.
