Real Madrid has announced that Raúl Asencio is not included in the squad for the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern at the Allianz Arena in Munich, scheduled for this Wednesday.

Spanish central defender Raúl Asencio will not be part of the Real Madrid squad traveling to Germany to face Bayern. This absence adds to the previously known injuries of Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo Goes, and the suspension of Aurélien Tchouaméni, who received his third yellow card in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Despite these setbacks, coach Álvaro Arbeloa welcomes back several key players for this important fixture. Álvaro Carreras, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Antonio Rüdiger, who were rested against Girona, return to the squad. Franco Mastantuono also rejoins the team after missing the previous match due to suspension.
The full 23-player squad includes goalkeepers Andriy Lunin, Fran González, and Javi Navarro; defenders Dani Carvajal, Éder Militao, David Alaba, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Álvaro Carreras, Fran García, Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy, and Dean Huijsen. The midfielders are Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Arda Güler, Dani Ceballos, and Thiago Pitarch. The forwards called up are Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé, Gonzalo García, Brahim Díaz, and Franco Mastantuono. The squad is completed with three academy players: goalkeepers Fran González and Javi Navarro, and midfielder Thiago Pitarch.
