A socialist leader has defended the importance of having political alternatives that boost electoral participation against the governments of the People's Party in the Community and the City Council of Madrid. According to her statements, mobilization is a crucial element to achieve change and defeat the current administrations. "It is always important to have alternatives so that mobilization, which is fundamental to defeating Mrs. Ayuso and Mr. Almeida, is an element of change," she stated before a demonstration in defense of public education.
It was emphasized that public education acts as a "social elevator" that guarantees equal opportunities. In this regard, the PP has been urged to cease confrontation and listen to the demands of the educational community, including classroom air conditioning, improved working conditions for teachers, and quality education.
The socialist representative called on the people of Madrid not to resign themselves and to use their vote as a tool for political transformation in both the Community and the capital. She advocated for the PSOE's project as the most solid option to "win" the 2027 elections, assuring that the party is "at the service of the citizens" and working to regain government with the majority support of Madrid's residents.
The municipal spokesperson added that the socialists are facing the electoral cycle with "very strong candidacies" and "the best program to win Madrid," expressing confidence in their proposals for the city.
