A prominent political figure has confirmed her intention to run as a candidate for the presidency of the Community of Madrid in the 2027 regional elections, aiming to lead a change in the region.

The announcement was made during the III edition of the La Madrileña festival, held in Paraíso Park, in the San Blas-Canillejas district. The candidate was accompanied by other leaders of her political party.

"If we want to change that root, we have to govern Madrid. After much thought, I have made a decision. If you support me, if you give me your backing, I want to be the next president of the Community of Madrid."
